Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) Module 2: Accident, Emergency, and the Driver is a course designed for professional LGV drivers. The module covers the essential knowledge and skills required to respond to accidents and emergencies on the road.
In this course, participants will learn about the relevant regulations and guidelines for responding to accidents and emergencies, including the Highway Code and guidance from the Driving Standards Agency (DSA). They will also learn how to safely and effectively deal with a range of emergency situations, including how to use fire extinguishers and first aid kits, and how to communicate with emergency services.
The course will be delivered through a combination of lectures and case studies, and will be assessed through a written test at the end. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a Driver CPC Module 2 certificate, which is required for professional drivers in the EU and is recognized by the Joint Approvals Unit for Periodic Training (JAUPT). The course will also help participants to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to meet the DSA’s standards for professional drivers.
